Area light replacement

A better lighting plan for the whole site.

Upgrade aging area lighting with LED equipment selected for your parking areas, entrances, walkways, and operating needs. Start with the layout and existing infrastructure—not simply a wattage substitution.

Assess before you replace

Light the places
people actually use.

Parking lots, loading areas, pedestrian routes, and recreation spaces have different requirements. We review existing fixtures, mounting locations, operating hours, and the surrounding property before developing the replacement approach.

Distribution & visibility

Evaluate how light reaches the ground and relevant surfaces. Review uniformity, glare, and spill light through a project-specific plan.

Existing infrastructure

Consider mounting heights, fixture connections, supply voltage, and pole condition. Reuse depends on suitability and any required specialist assessment.

Operation & maintenance

Coordinate output, scheduling, photocells, and suitable controls with the way the site operates and will be serviced.

A coordinated upgrade

From site review to equipment supply.

  1. Review the starting point.

Share a site plan, fixture counts, photos, mounting heights, operating hours, and any areas that need improvement.

  2. Develop the lighting approach.

Use layout and photometric analysis to compare suitable distributions and equipment against the project’s requirements.

  3. Check rebate eligibility early.

Before purchase or installation, confirm qualifying products, application timing, and any required advance approval.

  4. Coordinate the replacement.

Define equipment supply, contractor responsibilities, controls setup, and verification. Installation arrangements are established for the individual project.

Questions about your site.

Can we replace fixtures on the existing poles?

Often the existing infrastructure is a starting point, but mounting, condition, electrical requirements, and the lighting layout need review before reuse is specified.

Is matching the existing wattage enough?

No. Output, optics, mounting height, spacing, and the intended use of the area affect the result. A lighting plan helps evaluate those factors together.

Will LED lighting eliminate glare?

Not automatically. Fixture optics, placement, shielding, output, and aiming all matter. The design should address glare and surrounding properties.

Do you provide installation?

Our core offer is design and equipment supply. Installation responsibilities are defined for each project; turnkey arrangements may be evaluated for qualified larger-account programs.
